Comandante developed the Nitro Blade® in their coffee lab using high-alloyed, high-nitrogen stainless steel with a fine martensitic micro-crystal matrix.

The main reason for selecting this type of material was to construct tough, wear resistant and edge retention of the burr to ensure its' quality, stability and longevity.

Furthermore, the geometry and structure of the Nitro Blade® burr was refined to pursue the grind performance that created the particle distribution that was best with brewing fresh ground specialty arabica beans.

Lastly, in the engineering process, there were tiny micro-blades cut into the tips of the Z-teeth to give it an exceptionally sharp burr entry, resulting in refined particle size distribution for grind grades from fine to coarse.

• 3-way click action grind adjustment dial at the bottom of the grinder to move it from a fine to coarse grind. There are three independent micro steel ball click units to assure balanced pressure.
