Nick Terzulli, a certified Q grade (highest certification in sensory coffee assessment), made a number of changes to the Fellow Ode Brew Gen 2 Electric Coffee Grinder.

However, one of the most sought after upgrades is the improved grinding range. Unlike in the previous model, the Fellow Ode Brew Gen 2 is able to now grind 250 - 300 microns and upwards.

Although, still a grinder made specifically for filter coffee specialists, and not espressos. The second generation electric grinder can produce balanced flavour profiles with medium clarity and amplified body.

After 23 prototype burrs, Nick finally designed the second generation burr that have come to show its' aptitude in grinding finer. Version 2 burr's still feature the same 64 mm stainless steel and flat geometry, but now function in two stages for complete grinding precision.

• Anti-static technology by incorporating a small ioniser into the exit shoot. So what this means is, as the coffee grounds are moving through the grinder, any static that was generated is becoming neutralised as it moves into the catch cup. This results in less mess and significantly reduced grind retention!

• Handy grinds knocker on the side of the grinder to help shake any grounds stuck inside the chute. This helps to reduce grind retention as well.
